Blackville is one of just thirteen skilled nursing facilities in South Carolina to receive an award for their quality of care.

The AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award Program is a rigorous three-level process that evaluates long-term care organization’s capabilities. Each long-term care facility is held to nationally recognized standards for excellence, making the NQAP one of the most comprehensive performance assessments available.

Blackville Healthcare & Rehabilitation, LLC, is an eighty-five-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center in Barnwell County. The Center accepts short-term patients in need of physical, occupational, or speech therapy before returning home and long-term patients whose skilled medical needs are such that remaining at home is not an option.
The Center also provides around-the-clock RN’s, LPN’s and CNA’s in addition to other members of the interdisciplinary team, which includes physical, occupational, and speech therapy; social services; activities; registered dietician; wound care nurse; Medical Director, and nurse practitioner.
